El verbo «molestar» nunca se traduce por “to molest”, que significa abusar sexualmente. Decimos “to bother” o el sinónimo más suave “to disturb”.

Don’t bother your father while he’s working, dear. (No molestes a tu padre mientras trabaja, cariño.)
